Special Categories

Many of Fabrik's sites have a series of Special Categories that dictate how the homepage is laid out. These can be added the same way as regular categories, but populate special areas of the homepage. They do not need to be removed when a new article is added to this category, new articles will simply push old articles off the homepage.

Important: Special Categories should never be an article’s main or only category. Articles should always be tagged with a regular category and then with any special categories. An article’s main category is the category that appears first in the list of categories.
